
| The Microbiology Division has reached a high specialization and production capacity; it is responsible for the production of aids for the food industry as Saccharomyces spp in its main applications: 1) Saccharomyces cerevisiae (ScLdT5) used as a processing aid in the production of Gorgonzola cheese; 2) wide range of yeasts for wine production in liquid culture, concentrated or lyophilized; 3) wide range of brewing yeasts in liquid culture, concentrated or lyophilized. We also produce liquid cultures of Penicillium roqueforti.
According to Regione Lombardia dispositions (Legislative decree n. 2411 del 13/03/07) WIZ laboratory is listed in the Register of Laboratories authorized to make analyses for food's industries.
